Bags, boxes and the last things left to clear, gone from the curb. Choose what’s going, see your exact price and book by 2pm for same-day pickup. You don’t need to be home.
Two bags. One filled box. Count what goes, then book it together.
Finish clearing the space
The last few things still deserve a pickup.
You have decided what is going. Now give those bags and boxes a pickup day, with a price you can see before anyone arrives.
The move is nearly done.
Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
The clear-out can be finished.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.
You want to know it is handled.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.
A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Filled bags and boxes
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard and containers
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Furniture and other larger items
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Prescott Valley has no town pickup for a couch. The town's free bulk trash voucher covers furniture at two landfill drop-off sites during a window that runs March 1 through June 30, so outside that window a couch moves with a private hauler or after a call to the county.
City cost & eligibility
The town publishes no rate for furniture and its 2026 voucher window has closed, and the county prices household material by volume rather than naming furniture, so confirm the route and the cost at 928-759-6010 or with the county at (928) 771-3183 before anything is booked.
When & how
The 2026 voucher window ran March 1 through June 30 and is closed, with next year's dates unpublished. The rest of the year, ask one of the private trash companies the town Resident's Guide lists, or call the county Solid Waste Division at (928) 771-3183 about the Mayer Transfer Station.
Get it ready
Ask before the couch is carried out. A voucher load is one trip per household and no longer than 28 feet including the trailer, and it refuses municipal solid waste, household wet trash, propane tanks, gas or diesel power equipment, liquids, hazardous items, medical waste, ammunition, tires, refrigerators, freezers and televisions.
The county transfer station fee sheet prices a mattress per piece, so a mattress can be self-hauled to the county station in Mayer, and the town voucher covers mattresses too inside its March 1 through June 30 window.
City cost & eligibility
$10 per mattress at a Yavapai County transfer station, where the published rate is $10.00 each. The county publishes the rate for its own stations. Confirm that a Prescott Valley address may use the Mayer station at (928) 863-4672, and remember the town voucher window is closed for 2026.
When & how
Take it to the Yavapai County Mayer Transfer Station during station hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or hold it for the town voucher window that runs March 1 through June 30 each year.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry, and do not mix it into a voucher load that carries municipal solid waste, household wet trash, propane tanks, liquids, hazardous items, tires, refrigerators, freezers or televisions, because a voucher load refuses them. County sites are closed on New Year's Day, Civil Rights Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The county transfer station fee sheet prices appliances by whether the unit still holds refrigerant, so a refrigerator, freezer, washer, dryer or stove can be self-hauled to the county station. The town hazardous waste pickup refuses large appliances, and a voucher load refuses refrigerators and freezers.
City cost & eligibility
From $10 per appliance at a Yavapai County transfer station, where the published rates are $40.00 for an appliance that still holds refrigerant and $10.00 for one that does not. Confirm that a Prescott Valley address may use the county station and ask how a unit that still holds refrigerant must be presented, at (928) 863-4672.
When & how
Use the Mayer Transfer Station during its hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Gray Wolf Regional Landfill in Dewey refuses items that contain Freon or other CFCs, so an appliance that still holds refrigerant belongs at the county station rather than the landfill.
Get it ready
Empty the unit, secure the doors, and keep it out of a voucher load and out of a town hazardous waste pickup, because both refuse large appliances. Ask whether the unit still holds refrigerant before you load, because that changes how it is charged.
No Prescott Valley or Yavapai County page read for this town publishes a television drop-off: a voucher load refuses televisions, the town hazardous waste pickup refuses electronics, and the county electronics collection is limited to Sedona city limits and unincorporated Yavapai County.
City cost & eligibility
No published television route covers a Prescott Valley address and no rate is published for one anywhere, so confirm the set and any charge with the town at 928-759-6010 or with the county at (928) 771-3183 before it leaves the house.
When & how
Call first. The next county household hazardous waste and electronics collection is published for Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Sedona, and its stated eligibility is Sedona city limits and unincorporated Yavapai County only.
Get it ready
Keep the set whole and wipe anything that stores data. Keep it out of a voucher load and out of a town hazardous waste pickup, because televisions and electronics are refused by both.
Computer and household electronics have no published Prescott Valley route either. The county recycling flyer lists electronics as not recyclable at a transfer station, and the county electronics collection is published for Sedona city limits and unincorporated Yavapai County.
City cost & eligibility
The county publishes no electronics drop-off that covers a Prescott Valley address and no rate for one, so confirm the device and any charge with the town at 928-759-6010 or the county at (928) 771-3183 first.
When & how
Call before the trip. The county lists computers, monitors, printers, microwaves, small appliances and power tools among the electronics it takes at its household hazardous waste events, and those events are published for Sedona city limits and unincorporated Yavapai County.
Get it ready
Wipe stored data and keep cables and chargers with the device. Keep electronics out of a voucher load and out of the recycling containers, because both refuse them.
Construction debris is priced by the cubic yard on the county transfer station fee sheet, and the Gray Wolf Regional Landfill in Dewey accepts construction and demolition debris, so a renovation load has a published self-haul route.
City cost & eligibility
$46 per cubic yard of construction debris at a Yavapai County transfer station, where the published rate includes steel, metal items, sheet rock, concrete, mortar, particle board, railroad ties, large lumber, doors, solar panels, roofing, carpet, rock, asphalt and tools. Confirm the load and the receiving station at (928) 863-4672. The county also publishes a per ton rate with a minimum for the Paulden station only, so ask which rate fits your load.
When & how
Haul the load to a county transfer station, or to the Gray Wolf Regional Landfill in Dewey, which is open 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday and closed Sunday and on major holidays.
Get it ready
Keep the load residential and out of a voucher, because the voucher programme states no demolition disposal, and commercial loads are refused at the county clean-up days. Friable asbestos, biohazardous medical waste, bulk liquids, items that contain Freon or other CFCs, explosives, used oil, waste tires and universal waste are refused at the landfill.
Exercise equipment is named on no Prescott Valley or Yavapai County page read for this town, so the machine has to be confirmed before it is hauled anywhere.
City cost & eligibility
No published list or rate covers an exercise machine. The county prices household material by volume at its transfer stations and the town publishes no bulky rate, so confirm the item, the station and the charge at (928) 771-3183 or 928-759-6010 first.
When & how
Call the county Solid Waste Division at (928) 771-3183 before a trip to the Mayer Transfer Station, or ask one of the private companies the town Resident's Guide lists about a pickup of its own.
Get it ready
Describe the machine, its weight and whether it has powered parts, and keep it out of a voucher load until the town or county confirms it, because a voucher covers one truckload and refuses liquids, hazardous items and propane tanks.
Bulky household material has no weekly route in Prescott Valley. The county transfer station takes household material by volume, the county opens free slash drop-off at its transfer stations from April 1 through June 1 each year, and the town voucher covers one pickup truckload of furniture, mattresses or yard waste inside its window.
City cost & eligibility
From $12 per cubic yard of household material up to 8 cubic yards at a Yavapai County transfer station, where a 30 gallon bag is $2.00, a residential green waste load of up to 5 cubic yards is $10.00, car batteries are $5.00 each and used motor oil is $1.00 per gallon. The county publishes these rates for its own stations. Confirm that a Prescott Valley address may use the Mayer station and which station takes the load at (928) 863-4672.
When & how
Use the Mayer Transfer Station, open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or wait for a county community clean-up day or the free slash window that runs April 1 through June 1 each year. The town voucher window runs March 1 through June 30.
Get it ready
Separate recyclables from trash, because the county lists plastic bags, Styrofoam, glass, food waste, electronics, wood and carpet as not recyclable at its stations, and keep hazardous chemicals, paint, tires, appliances and televisions out of a voucher load, because a voucher refuses them.
Prescott Valley has no town curbside collection, so furniture, mattresses and household bulky material move through a private company from the town Resident's Guide, a self-haul trip to the Yavapai County Mayer Transfer Station on Antelope Creek Road, a county community clean-up day, or the town bulk trash voucher window that runs March 1 through June 30.
Keep chemicals and refrigerated appliances out of a bulk load
The town household hazardous waste pickup takes paint, solvents, pool chemicals, gasoline, car batteries and fluorescent bulbs, but it refuses electronics and large appliances, and 2026 requests are closed. A voucher load refuses municipal solid waste, household wet trash, propane tanks, liquids, hazardous items, tires, refrigerators, freezers and televisions, and the county landfill refuses items that contain Freon or other CFCs as well as waste tires.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Residential household material hauled to a county transfer station on a published clean-up day.
Cost & conditions

Arrange it
