The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Your TV can stay inside while you book. Before pickup, arrange to have it disconnected, taken down if mounted and moved to an accessible outdoor spot.
A pickup day is not an exact arrival appointment. If your building allows only a short loading window, contact us before booking to confirm a workable plan.
Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

Choose a permitted outdoor spot.
Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

Show us the TV that is going.
Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Ask your local waste provider or electronics program about your TV’s type, size and condition. Do not assume a general bulk-pickup service accepts televisions. The EPA lists manufacturer and retailer recycling resources to help you investigate local options.
Finish the unmounting before pickup.
Arrange wall removal, disconnection and carrying outside separately. Keep the screen intact and ask us about unusual damage before booking. A rear-projection set needs confirmation rather than the nearest-looking flat-screen or tube-TV choice.

How much does TV removal cost?+
A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. A flat screen 42 inches or larger is $129 as the first item. Choose the matching TV and review the full total, including any applicable tax, before payment. Loading, transportation and disposal are included.
How do I measure a flat-screen TV for removal?+
Use the screen’s diagonal measurement from one corner to the opposite corner. A flat screen under 42 inches uses the smaller choice; 42 inches or larger uses the larger choice. An older tube TV with a deep body has its own option regardless of screen size.
Do you take old tube or CRT televisions?+
Yes. Choose Tube TV for a television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. It is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is different; send a photo and confirm the item before booking.
Will you take my television off the wall?+
Arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at the accessible outdoor location, where we load the TV and take it away. If the TV is heavy or awkward to move, arrange suitable help before the pickup day.
Does the TV have to work?+
It does not have to turn on. Select its type and size and have it ready outside. A non-working set and exposed broken glass are different situations. Send a photo before booking if the screen is broken or the condition needs checking.
Is same-day TV pickup available?+
Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup and choose from the dates shown at checkout. Follow your confirmation for outdoor readiness. We send a text before arrival and completion photos; the booking is for a day, not an exact arrival window.
Can I put an old TV out with regular trash?+
Check your local electronics rules before setting it out. Ask the collection program whether it accepts your type of television and how collection is arranged. Dropcurb offers a separately booked outdoor pickup for supported TVs, with the price and available dates shown before payment.
