San Diego does not currently provide city bulky-item pickup. The practical choices are a private collection arrangement or an accepted drop-off; the Miramar mattress site, recycling center and landfill have different rules.
There is no city bulky-item collection for large home gym machines.

Can I book a pickup for today?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Your booking is for a pickup day, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
Will San Diego collect my couch on trash day?+
No. The city does not offer bulky-item pickup, and furniture is excluded from collection carts. Arrange private collection or confirm a suitable self-haul destination before setting it out.Official guidance
Can I recycle a mattress at Miramar on Saturday?+
The mattress collection site is open Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, and closes on weekends. It has different hours from the nearby recycling center. Contaminated or severely damaged mattresses do not qualify.Official guidance
