When & how
The stations operate from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with day patterns that differ by site: Cave Creek and Hassayampa run Wednesday through Saturday, Aguila is open Thursday and Friday, and Morristown is open Wednesday and Saturday, so check the site before loading.

Separate recyclables from the trash load because the recyclable streams carry no load charge, keep tires to five or fewer per visit with the rims off, keep used oil or antifreeze to five gallons per visit, and leave batteries, household hazardous waste, propane or refrigerant containers, asbestos, manure, radioactive material and wet cell batteries out of the load entirely because they are refused.

A load is priced by the vehicle, so separate the streams before the trip: recyclables, electronics and scrap metal go in the free streams, green waste rides the lower green table, furniture, mattresses, appliances and CRTs are charged per item, and household trash is priced by the car, van, pickup or trailer load or by the bag.
