Prepare the dresser before removal
Use this sequence:
- 1.Remove valuables, liquids and breakables from every drawer.
- 2.Remove drawers and other manufacturer-detachable parts if the mover’s instructions allow it.
- 3.Label and bag the hardware so it stays with the dresser.
- 4.Protect the dresser and secure the drawers before it is moved.
- 5.Ask the hired mover about its exact weight and packing policy before removal.
If the dresser is being discarded rather than moved to another home, compare dresser donation and disposal routes before booking transport.

Dropcurb fit for an unwanted dresser
For an accepted unwanted dresser that is already outside and accessible, Dropcurb handles loading, transport and disposal. Choose the applicable small, medium or large dresser definition, and check the current item price before booking. If the dresser is still indoors, arrange the indoor labor first; standard pickup does not include carrying it out.
