If you are replacing the microwave, ask Lowe’s to confirm whether haul-away applies to your specific appliance and purchase. Do not assume that delivery of a large appliance includes removal of a countertop microwave or a connected over-range microwave.
For eligible haul-away, the old appliance generally needs to be empty, uninstalled and unplugged unless installation was purchased. Follow Lowe’s instructions before the pickup or installation appointment.
If you are not replacing it, compare microwave scrap-yard acceptance before arranging transport.
