Check the receiving location first
Call or check the exact Salvation Army center before loading the monitor. Ask whether it accepts your display type, whether it is taking usable donations or recycling equipment, and whether current participation has changed. A monitor and a television may follow different rules.
If the center cannot receive the display, compare free computer-monitor recycling options and their size and location conditions.

If the monitor is refused
Dropcurb can handle an accepted computer monitor that is already outside and accessible, including loading, transportation and disposal. A computer monitor is one separate display; a desktop tower is a separate item. If you need someone to carry the monitor out from indoors, use a service that includes indoor carrying.
