Book an appointment for the second consecutive Friday or Saturday of the month and bring the items to 880 W. Verdulera St., Camarillo. Stay in your vehicle at the event.
Appointment only, with a 15-gallon or 125-pound transport limit. No tires, explosives, ammunition, compressed gas cylinders, trash, radioactive or biological waste, marine flares or smoke detectors.
For loads that do not fit a scheduled pickup, the city's disposal guide points to the Simi Valley Landfill Recycling Center for construction material, wood and yard debris, and to Gold Coast Recycling in Ventura for electronics and other recyclable items. Computers, computer monitors, televisions, printers, cell phones, consoles, fax machines, VCRs, lamps and small kitchen appliances.
No limit for residential customers, and fluorescent tubes or ballasts carry a small charge. Hazardous waste, medical waste, oily waste, solvent solid waste and pesticides are not accepted.
Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Sunday.
Mattress recycling is free for one set per year and some items such as fluorescent tubes carry a small charge. Confirm pricing, mattress eligibility and residency requirements before you drive out.

Do you erase data from old computers?+
Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away.
