Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

No collection price exists because construction debris is not a curbside material. Escondido Disposal quotes a 15 yard or 40 yard roll-off box by phone, and the box carries a 10 ton weight limit with heavy material restricted to a shallow even layer, so confirm the box size, the load and the price with the hauler before ordering.
When & how
Order the roll-off box through Escondido Disposal at 760-745-3203 before the project starts, and submit the Construction Waste Management Plan documents before the demolition or building permit is issued.
Get it ready
Separate recyclables, organics, trash and construction debris into different containers, keep the load level with the top of the box, and never put asbestos in trash, recycling or organics, because it has to be handled by an authorized professional under state and federal rules.
Common batteries, fluorescent tubes and bulbs, electronic devices such as televisions, computers, monitors, printers, VCRs, telephones, radios and microwave ovens, mercury containing switches and gauges, and non empty aerosols may not be placed out for curbside collection or put in any bin meant for solid waste. Paint is refused as well and goes to a PaintCare retail drop off, and lithium batteries have to be kept out of the recycling cart because crushed cells start fires.
The household hazardous waste drop off is by appointment only
The Escondido household hazardous waste site on West Washington Avenue opens two Saturdays a month and requires an appointment, which is booked by phone or online. City residents do not pay to use it, the load is limited to 15 gallons or 125 pounds, container labels have to be legible, containers have to be sealed, products may not be mixed together, and the material travels in the trunk away from passengers and pets. Business waste, tires, explosives, radioactive material and medical waste are refused.
