Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

No published rate covers an exercise machine and it is not a listed item, so confirm with EDCO whether it can go out inside the three-item bulky allowance.

Ask EDCO with the machine type and size before requesting the pickup, then include it only if it is accepted.
Get it ready
Fold or tie down the deck and handles, remove any console or battery pack so it can be handled separately, and remember that the quarterly pickup allows three items in total.
The bulky pickup is free each quarter for up to three acceptable items, set at the curb or the end of the driveway by 6 a.m. on the appointed day, which is generally the regular cart collection day, and a separate truck collects them.

The free route for large items is the quarterly bulky pickup, limited to three items that go at the curb or the end of the driveway by 6 a.m. on the appointed day, and the acceptable list covers furniture, scrap metal, stoves, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwave ovens, water heaters and one television or computer monitor. Tires, dirt, concrete, asphalt and hazardous chemicals are refused, and paint may not go curbside or into a bin at all: hazardous products such as paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, batteries, used oil, auto fluids and propane go free to the South Bay Regional drop-off center at 1800 Maxwell Road in Chula Vista, open Wednesdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., within 15 gallons or 125 pounds per vehicle and with residency documentation. Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
