The project is done. Get your space back.

The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction and home improvement debris

Not on the regular city route

Concrete and home improvement project debris are refused at the Trash Bash, and the city tells residents those items need special preparations at the landfill through their home trash removal company.

City cost & eligibility
No city rate is published for project debris. Concrete and home improvement material are refused at the Trash Bash and routed to the home trash removal company and the landfill, so confirm the route, any special preparation and the price with that company or the receiving site.
When & how
No city drop-off day for this material. Arrange collection or a container through the home trash hauler before the work produces debris.
Get it ready
Keep concrete, project debris and grass clippings out of the Trash Bash load, because the city refuses them, and keep liquids, paint, motor oil and chemicals out as well since those go to the county chemical programme.

What stays home from the Trash Bash

Household trash, commercial waste, concrete and home improvement project debris, grass clippings, televisions, computers, air conditioners, freezers, microwaves, refrigerators, office electrical equipment, car bodies, smoke detectors and sealed containers with unknown contents are refused. Liquids, paint, motor oil, pesticides and chemicals are refused too, because those go to the county chemical waste programme.

Electronics cannot go in the landfill

Colorado law bans residential and business electronics from landfill disposal and requires recycling, so devices should not go in the trash anywhere in Brighton. The city points to its fall Eco Event and to year round electronic recycling at Veolia in Henderson or the SustainAbility Hard-To-Recycle Center in Broomfield.

City of Brighton and the county chemical waste programs

Take household chemicals to the county programme

A household with paint, thinners, cleaners, pesticides or other chemical products that the Trash Bash refuses.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes the county routes without a rate. Weld County residents use the Dacono and Greeley household hazardous waste facilities, and Adams County residents are directed to the Chemical Round-Up events, so confirm the current hours and any limits with the county at (970) 400-2217 for Weld or through the city line for Adams.
Arrange it
Take the material to the Weld County South facility at 5500 Hwy 52 in Dacono on a Friday or Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or the North facility at 1311 North 17th Avenue in Greeley on a Tuesday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or use the Adams County round-up events if your address is in Adams County.

Chemical waste only, and the facilities serve the county where the resident lives, so confirm which programme covers the address before loading. Business waste goes through the separate fee based programme.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self haul in Brighton means driving to one of the city's own events or to a county chemical facility, because the city runs no curbside collection of its own. Furniture, mattresses, appliances other than refrigeration units, cut carpet, doors, lawn equipment and nail free lumber go to the Trash Bash drop-off at 325 North Kuner Rd on one of the four 2026 dates, with proof of residence and identification. Electronics go to the fall Eco Event at the Eagle View Adult Center on September 19, where smaller devices are free and televisions and monitors carry a minimum fee, or year round to Veolia in Henderson or the SustainAbility Hard-To-Recycle Center in Broomfield. Household chemicals go to the county that serves the address, either the Weld County facilities in Dacono and Greeley or the Adams County chemical round-up events. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and home improvement debris have no city route at all, and the city directs residents to their own trash hauler for the special preparation the landfill requires. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Brighton.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Brighton?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Brighton?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does home improvement debris go in Brighton?

Not to the Trash Bash, which refuses concrete and home improvement project debris and tells residents those items need special preparations at the landfill. The published path is the home trash removal company, so confirm the collection, the preparation and the price before the debris is produced.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Brighton?

Households arrange their own collection with a private hauler, because the city provides water, wastewater and storm drainage rather than refuse service. The city runs the spring and fall Trash Bash for large items, the fall Eco Event for electronics and paper shredding, and it publishes the county chemical waste routes. Public Works answers programme questions at 303-655-2087.Official guidance

How do large items leave a Brighton home?

The city's route is the Trash Bash drop-off, twice a year in the spring and in the fall, for furniture, mattresses, appliances other than refrigerators and freezers, carpet, doors, lawn equipment and nail free lumber. Residents need proof of residence and identification, and the spring and fall 2026 dates are in April and September. Anything the Trash Bash refuses goes through the home trash hauler or the county chemical programme.Official guidance
