I live in an apartment or condo — how does pickup work?
Apartment pickups work great. Set your items at your building’s usual spot — the loading dock, dumpster area, or wherever your building allows. We text you a live ETA when your hauler is on the way, so if your building doesn’t allow items outside, you can stay home and bring them out right when the hauler arrives. Need a specific window? Text us and we’ll coordinate.
Apartment and condo pickups are some of the most common jobs we do — the only difference from a house is where the items wait.
Where to put your items:
Use whatever spot your building already allows: the loading dock, the dumpster or trash area, a designated bulk-item spot, or just outside your building's entrance if that's permitted. Add the location in the pickup notes when you book (for example, "loading area behind the U-Haul entrance") so your hauler goes straight to it.
Worried about building rules?
You don't have to leave items sitting out for hours. We text you a live ETA when your hauler is on the way — if your building doesn't allow items outside unattended, stay home and bring them out when the hauler arrives. Most pickups happen before 2 PM, and you'll know exactly when yours is coming.
Need a specific time window?
If your building requires scheduling dock time or an elevator reservation, text us at (844) 879-0892 after you book and we'll coordinate a window with your hauler.
