Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

The City does not collect construction and demolition debris, and its ordinance requires an authorized franchised hauler for that material inside the city limits.

City cost & eligibility
The City publishes no curbside collection and no City rate for construction and demolition debris. The City code requires an authorized franchised hauler for project debris and those companies set their own prices, while a load hauled directly to a county transfer station is weighed and charged the published tipping fee.
When & how
Arrange the container or the haul before the work starts, because nothing from a project goes out with the twice weekly garbage route, the weekly recycling day or the bulk and vegetation pile.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of the garbage container, the recycling bins and the bulk pile, because it is on the unacceptable materials list. Keep paint, solvents and other hazardous products on the household hazardous route, and do not mix project debris into a vegetation pile, which the City refuses when it is contaminated.

Authorized hauler for construction and demolition debris

A renovation, roofing, deck, shed or demolition project that generates construction and demolition debris inside the city limits.

Cost & conditions
The City requires an authorized franchised hauler for construction and demolition debris inside the city limits and publishes no City rate, so each franchised company quotes its own price. A load hauled directly to a county transfer station is weighed on entry and exit and charged the published tipping fee.
Arrange it
Choose a company from the City's authorized construction and demolition hauler list, or haul the load to a county transfer station where the vehicle and load are weighed.

The City refuses construction and demolition debris at the curb, so it cannot go out with garbage, recycling, vegetation or the weekly bulk collection.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Boca Raton runs its own weekly routes, so a household hauls only what those routes refuse. Household hazardous waste and electronics go to a county Home Chemical and Recycling Center at no cost to county residents, and the closest is the Southwest County Transfer Station at 13400 S State Road 7 in Delray Beach, open Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The City does not take tires and the county chemical centers refuse them too, so the county authority at 866-792-4636 is the contact for tire instructions, and hypodermic needles go through the Palm Beach County Health Department South Center at 561-274-3100. Construction and demolition debris has no City collection, so the load needs an authorized franchised hauler or a self-haul trip to a transfer station where it is weighed. Vegetation over the City's limb limits is cut to size, taken to the county, or collected through the Pay for Pickup option. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Boca Raton.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Boca Raton?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Boca Raton?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Will Boca Raton take construction debris at the curb?

No. The City states that it will not collect construction and demolition debris, and the City code requires an authorized franchised hauler for that material generated inside the city limits. The City website lists the currently authorized construction and demolition haulers.Official guidance

Which materials are refused with bulk waste?

The published list includes asphalt and tar, bathtubs, sinks and toilets, cabinetry, carpeting and rugs, concrete, construction and demolition debris, decking and fencing, drywall, flooring, glass and mirrors, land clearing debris, lawn maintenance equipment, logs and lumber, metal and metal pipes, paint, pallets, paver blocks and stepping stones, pool parts and equipment, rocks, sand, soil and sod, roofing material, sheds, tile, tires, tree stumps, and wood and railroad ties.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Boca Raton?

The City of Boca Raton Sanitation Services Division collects residential garbage, recycling, vegetation and bulk waste, and the service is limited to households inside the city limits. The division answers questions at 561-416-3367, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.Official guidance

What changes in a shared or multi-family building?

Bulk item collection is published for single-family residences, so a household in a multi-family building should confirm the building's arrangement with the Sanitation Division at 561-416-3367 before setting anything out. Keep shared access clear and use an approved outdoor spot for anything being carried out from inside.Official guidance

Can household hazardous waste go to the curb?

No. The City says never to put a product labelled corrosive, flammable, toxic or reactive at the curb, and the county authority states there is no curbside collection for household hazardous waste at all. Paint, solvents, pool chemicals, propane cylinders, motor oil, fluorescent bulbs, batteries and electronics go instead to a county Home Chemical and Recycling Center, the closest being the Southwest County Transfer Station at 13400 S State Road 7 in Delray Beach.Official guidance

What counts as household hazardous waste in Boca Raton?

Acids and caustics, adhesives, antifreeze, car and marine batteries, rechargeable and lithium batteries, bleach and chlorine, paint and solvents, pesticides and fertilizers, pool chemicals, propane tanks, motor oil, fluorescent tubes and other mercury devices, and medicines. The county centers refuse prescription medicines and direct residents to a Pill Drop site, and alkaline household batteries are not treated as hazardous, so they can go in the regular garbage.Official guidance

How do I get rid of tires in Boca Raton?

Tires are on the unacceptable materials list, so the weekly bulk collection will not take them, and the county Home Chemical and Recycling Centers refuse them as well. The City directs residents to the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County at 866-792-4636 for tire disposal guidelines.Official guidance

What happens to collection on a holiday?

The City publishes a holiday sanitation schedule and sends text or email alerts for the changes, and it states that regularly scheduled services resume before or after the next scheduled day when a pickup falls on a holiday. Check the published schedule for the specific holiday rather than assuming the route shifts by a fixed number of days.Official guidance
