City cost & eligibility
No charge. Bulk trash such as furniture, appliances and mattresses is collected weekly at up to three cubic yards as part of the residential solid waste service, which the city bills monthly at the published residential rate. Construction and demolition debris on the same route is limited to one cubic yard weekly, and anything over those limits moves to a special pickup or a roll-off.

Get it ready
Keep the mattress separate from vegetation and from any construction pile because mixed piles are charged, leave three feet around the pile and any obstruction such as a mailbox or car, and bag any loose or small debris.

Household bulk trash is limited to three cubic yards weekly, construction and demolition debris to one cubic yard weekly and vegetation to three cubic yards, bulk and vegetation must be kept in separate piles, loose debris has to be bagged, and small glass panels, mirrors and sheets of glass have to be broken, bagged and boxed.

No charge. The weekly bulky collection is part of the residential solid waste service, billed monthly at the published residential rate of $24.06, with a $100.00 minimum special pickup charge above the three cubic yard bulk or one cubic yard construction limits.
