The weekly piles go out the night before and stay separated
Everything goes out the night before or no later than 6:30 a.m. on the collection day, and the piles stay separated: up to four cubic yards of bulky large household items, up to ten cubic yards of yard waste and a separate white good pile, because the city asks for junk and brush to be kept apart. Limbs have to be cut to four feet long and four inches in diameter except palm fronds, small yard material goes in recyclable paper bags, and nothing goes out more than 24 hours before the collection day.
