Put the mattress and box spring out on the monthly bulky collection day, the night before or by 6 a.m.
Get it ready
Keep the pieces dry, five feet clear of vehicles, mailboxes and trees, and in front of the property where they were generated. Place them in the bulky pile, not in the brown garbage container or the green recycling container.
Garbage is collected twice a week in the brown 96 gallon container, recycling twice a month in the green 96 gallon container, and bulky and yard waste once a month. All three go out the night before collection or before 6 a.m. on the collection day. Containers sit on the swale with the wheels facing the property, at least five feet from vehicles, mailboxes, fences, fire hydrants, trees, light poles and other carts, and clear of low hanging branches and overhead lines. Domestic garbage must not be combined with yard or bulky debris.
