  1. Check what your delivery includes.

If a new mattress is arriving, check whether your retailer is taking the old one. If you need Dropcurb, choose a day when you can have it outside. A delivery window and a pickup day are different arrangements.

  2. Arrange the trip outside.

Plan for doorways, elevators and interior stairs before pickup day. You arrange any indoor carrying. Use a permitted outdoor location and keep entrances and the walking path open.

  3. Make the right mattress easy to find.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Brunswick is the Glynn County seat, and the pages a resident can read are the county's. Republic Services furnishes Glynn County homeowners with a 95-gallon cart for household garbage, collected with carts at the curb by 6:30 a.m., bagged and liquid free, and overflow in special 30-gallon bags sold at Publix and Harris Teeter. Glynn County Public Works gives every residential property two free bulky item pickups and two free white goods pickups a year, booked on 912-554-7111, with the pile limited to six feet by six feet by six feet, appliance doors secured, and a missed set-out still counting as a pickup. Bulk items cover sofas, lawnmowers, swing sets, bicycles without tires, carpet rolls, bookshelves and tables, and white goods cover refrigerators and freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, stoves and water heaters. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Mattress removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Brunswick.

How much does mattress removal cost in Brunswick?

The price depends on the mattress size you choose. A queen mattress is $99 as the first item and $30 as an additional item. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Add any box spring or frame separately, then review your total and any applicable tax before payment.

Can I book same-day mattress pickup in Brunswick?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Have the mattress outside and accessible according to your confirmation. Your booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.

Is my box spring or bed frame included in mattress removal?

The mattress price covers the mattress only. Add your box spring, bed frame or adjustable base separately if those are going too. Choose the size and type that match each item. The combined price appears before booking.

Will you carry my mattress downstairs or out of my apartment?

Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange to move the mattress out of your apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load it and take it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Check your building’s access rules before arranging the move outside.

Can you pick up my old mattress when my new one arrives?

You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.

Will a mattress be collected in Brunswick?

It travels on the county bulky pickup, because the county list is an open household list rather than a closed one, and each residential property has two free bulky item pickups a year booked on 912-554-7111. Mattresses are not named on that list, so name the mattress when you schedule and confirm it with county customer service. The alternative is a drop-off center, where the load is charged at the published per load or per ton rate.Official guidance

How many free pickups does a Brunswick address get each year?

Two bulky item pickups and two white goods pickups a year for each residential property in the county program, which the bulky item page states directly, and the service is not available to commercial businesses. Bulk items include sofas, lawnmowers, swing sets, bicycles without tires, carpet rolls, bookshelves and tables, and white goods include refrigerators and freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, stoves and water heaters.
