Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named in either city page, so a treadmill or weight machine has to be confirmed with the hauler or taken to a permitted facility.
City cost & eligibility
There is no published rate and no city service, so confirm whether the machine counts as bulky material with the approved hauler that holds the account, or price a self haul to a permitted facility.
When & how
Ask the hauler before the machine is moved, and keep it on the property until a pickup or a facility trip is arranged.
Get it ready
Break the machine down so it can be handled, take off any console or battery pack so it is not mixed with household waste, and keep the frame out of the carts.
The city does not provide direct residential or commercial solid waste services. Instead, several hauling companies hold City Council approved contracts, and the city publishes approved residential and commercial hauler directories that it refreshes each quarter. Inclusion is not an endorsement, service agreements and scheduling sit strictly between the resident and the provider, approved haulers must follow the city's Solid Waste Management Ordinance Chapter 12, and each hauler keeps the right to set its own service area.
For furniture, appliances or large debris the city lists four routes: contact the waste hauler directly to check availability, fees and scheduling for a bulk pickup; self haul to a state permitted transfer station or landfill after verifying hours and drop off fees; donate gently used items to charities, thrift organisations or neighbourhood networks; and check the city calendar and newsletter for periodic community cleanup days and hard to recycle drop off events.

The city publishes no price because everything is negotiated directly with the provider. The bulky item page tells residents to contact their waste hauler to check availability, fees and scheduling, and the approved hauler directory is refreshed quarterly.

Contact the hauler that services the address, ask whether the item is taken on a bulk pickup and confirm the day and the charge.
The city does not endorse any provider and does not mediate the contract, each hauler sets its own service area, and an item left at the curb without an arrangement is the household's own risk.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
