Plan the move before the pickup
Protect documents and other belongings you are keeping, empty every cabinet, and measure the desks, stair turns and doorways. Arrange helpers, suitable moving equipment and the route downstairs before collection. If a filing cabinet has removable drawers, follow its model instructions and use a helper rather than forcing the mechanism.

Stage the items for collection
After the indoor move, place the accepted items in an outdoor location that is accessible for pickup. Confirm any permission needed for that staging location. Keep the items ready outside before the pickup date, and check the booking flow for available dates.
