Confirm the free route before disassembly
For a usable, safe and complete trampoline, first confirm that a recipient will accept it. For scrap, ask the facility whether it accepts the frame and springs, whether minimum weights apply, and how it handles the mat, netting, foam and bungee materials. Do not assume the entire trampoline belongs in a metal scrap drop-off.
Check trampoline scrap-collection conditions before assuming removal will be free.

Plan model-specific disassembly and transport
If the trampoline must leave the property, check the manufacturer's instructions for your model. Springfree says off-property transport requires disassembly, and its components can involve loaded rods and tension. Follow the specified sequence and plan the transport before starting. Include any disassembly or transport cost when comparing the free options.
