Check the model before donating
Find the manufacturer and model information and check CPSC’s recall database. Follow any instructions for that specific product before considering donation or removal. A missing search result alone is not confirmation that a chair meets a charity’s standards.

Confirm a receiving place and time
Household Goods receives eligible donations at 530 Main Street in Acton on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, with holiday changes listed on its calendar. Those hours and age requirements are local program rules. Ask another recipient about its own intake process.
