Sort the reference shelf
Separate law books, magazines, newspapers and encyclopedias from 2016 or earlier. The warehouse lists trade manuals and antique or rare books among accepted categories. Check the current list before bringing a mixed collection.

Use receiving hours, not sale hours
Warehouse donation hours differ from public book-sale events. Pack books into carryable boxes and confirm arrangements for a very large collection. Do not assume a Saturday sale means the warehouse is receiving donations that day.

When Dropcurb helps
If your Houston book clear-out leaves accepted boxes to remove, Dropcurb handles loading and transport once they are outside and accessible. Pack books in manageable boxes and count each filled box, not each book. Check heavy or oversized boxes with us first. Choose the charity directly when your goal is donation; standard pickup does not promise a donation destination.

For accepted items outside and accessible. Your pickup uses the highest first-item price, plus the additional-item price for each remaining item. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Prices are before applicable sales tax; see your total before payment.
