Use the current collection list
Choose a listed receiving location and check its access instructions. A book collection point is different from a public library return slot, so use the designated donation entrance or container.
Sort for the receiving program
Keep usable books together and describe their age range and subject matter when asking about acceptance. Separate damaged copies and unrelated household items. Ask for a larger-load arrangement rather than leaving boxes beside a full collection point.
