Get it ready
Branches and limbs go out under five feet long, paper yard waste bags must stay under 40 pounds and carry a yellow sticker, brush has to be no more than three inches in diameter and five feet long and tied with city brush ties, and personal 35 gallon containers need a decal or sticker looped through the handle. Keep construction material, glass, metal, painted or treated wood, pet waste, plant pots, plastics and waxed or soiled paper out, because the facility refuses them.

Carts out by 6 a.m., stickers for the extra bags

Carts go out by 6 a.m. on the collection day and no more than 24 hours ahead, with two feet of clearance and the lid arrow pointing toward the street, and extra trash uses a single-use sticker on each bag or item under 40 lbs and smaller than two feet by three feet.
