$25 per oversize or large object collection arranged with Sanitation Services. City of Pocatello sanitation utility customers, who also pay a billing fee per account each month in addition to the service fees.

Get it ready
Keep the mattress out of the recycling and yard waste carts, put it at the curb alongside the garbage cart, and keep tires, freon appliances and hazardous waste out of any city container load because those items are refused.

Garbage carts are collected once a week on assigned days, recycling carts every other week on the same day, and the yard waste cart weekly from April 1 through November 30, with carts at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the day before and no later than 7 a.m. on the collection day. Leaf collection runs in November with leaves in brown paper compostable bags only, and Christmas trees are not collected curbside.

All garbage has to fit inside the 96 gallon cart, recycling carts are collected every other week and only after the customer opts in, and city containers refuse rocks, bricks, concrete, asphalt shingles, freon appliances, hazardous waste and tires.

You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed.
