Republic Services of Evansville collects trash weekly and single stream recycling every other week on the same day, from the city carts. Electronics, tires and chemicals belong at a county event or drop-off
The heavy trash route will not take electronics that may contain heavy metals, and it names televisions, computers and computer parts or accessories, along with auto batteries and tires, concrete blocks, bricks, steel poles, privacy fencing and hazardous materials. Those items move through the county instead.
