The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Electronics are not named in the city's heavy trash rules or on its recycling page, so a television or computer has to be confirmed with Priority before it is set out rather than assumed to ride the bulky allowance or a recycling cart.

What the sanitation account costs and what an overage tag covers
The base solid waste and recycling fee is a published monthly amount for a household with one trash and one recycling container, and it rises each January 2. A monthly senior discount is available to one and two person households where someone is 65 or older and water use stays at or under 7,500 gallons a month, and those households cannot rent extra containers. An extra container carries a monthly charge with a ceiling of two trash and two recycling containers, a replacement container carries its own published charge, and an overage tag for a bag or box that does not fit the container is bought at the Department of Public Works. Each amount is listed in the published fee schedule and in the charge records here.
Recycling goes into the provided 95 gallon recycling cart and the city lists clean plastic bottles and containers marked 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7, clean food and beverage cans or cartons, paper, clean flattened cardboard and paperboard, and clear or coloured glass bottles. A former cart cannot be used, and an additional container is requested through the city form. Trash that will not fit the container is handled with an overage tag rather than a loose pile, and the city's Department of Public Works at 9001 East 59th Street sells them.

A household with more than three items, or an item that needs collecting outside a heavy trash week.
Cost & conditions
$10 per item for heavy trash or bulky items that Priority Waste collects outside the two heavy trash weeks, paid and scheduled at least 48 hours ahead. Lawrence households. The three items included in each spring and fall heavy trash week carry no additional cost, and anything beyond that is charged per item, with the collection arranged through Priority at 855-927-8365 or 586-228-1200.
Arrange it

The exclusions still apply to a paid collection, so construction material, bricks and concrete blocks cannot be added to the load even when the household is paying.
