Dropcurb provides removal. Data erasure or certified data destruction is not included. For a device with a battery or condition concern, contact us before booking to confirm whether it can be collected.

Unplug the equipment and count the devices in your booking. Set aside any accessories you are keeping. Group the items being collected so the right equipment is easy to identify.

Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. Add a location photo and access notes. You arrange any carrying from inside your home or building; we load and take away the prepared items outside.

Brooks lists TVs, computers, radios, microwaves and power tools as separately handled electronics. The county guide also lists recycling receivers. Electronics do not belong in the curbside recycling cart.
City cost & eligibility
Brooks charges $50 per electronic item. Confirm battery handling: retained non-lithium batteries are $50 each and lithium batteries $200 each; the schedule lists no battery charge when the customer removes and takes them. Ask about safe arrangements before transport. Other receivers set their own rates.

Get it ready
Keep devices out of ordinary C&D and recycling carts. Ask how the receiver handles attached batteries; erase personal data before donating a computer.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
TVs, computers, radios, microwaves and power tools.
Bring only approved material, secure the load and keep household garbage out. Follow staff directions and confirm unloading help in advance. Keep electronics separate from ordinary C&D and confirm attached-battery handling.
March–October: Monday–Friday 7:30am–5pm. November–February: Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm. Saturday year-round 8am–noon. Closed Sundays and observed holidays; Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve close at noon.
Electronics are $50 each. Batteries left with the load are $50 each for non-lithium or $200 each for lithium; ask staff about safe removal and return arrangements before traveling.

Can you pick up old electronics today in Wichita?+

We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done. The booking is for a day, not an exact arrival time.
Does computer removal include my monitor and printer?+
Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. Add a separate monitor, printer or laptop as its own item if it is going too. For small devices, cables and chargers together, choose Box of electronics and check the description before booking.
Do you erase data from old computers?+
Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away. Yes. Box of electronics is an existing option for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. A monitor, desktop computer and printer each have their own item option. Send a photo before booking for a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries so we can confirm the fit.
Can a TV go with ordinary curbside recycling?+
