The city runs a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day at the City Complex, 2021 Industrial Park Road. The notice names Saturday, May 30, 2026, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., which has passed; the accepted list covers household chemicals, batteries, bulbs, paints, electronics and up to five tires, and the next date must be confirmed with Environmental Services at 318-441-6204.
