The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Get it ready
Wipe personal data before a computer leaves the house, keep the screen out of the automated refuse and recycling bins, and measure a television before paying because the price difference between the 27 inch band and the larger band is published.
Fall River publishes a single bulky item program with a scheduled curbside option and a year-round drop-off. Curbside pickup is only for residents who receive city collection, with apartment addresses asked to verify eligibility before paying, and the items are collected by the city's bulky hauler on a scheduled date with the sticker the city issues attached. The alternative is the DCM facility at 10 Lewiston St., open Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to noon. The base price is 12 dollars for one to three items from the furniture, appliance, lawn and garden, or miscellaneous lists, with individual prices for the heavier pieces, and the city's notice page warns that the published list of accepted items is not complete.
The 12 dollar price covers one to three standard items, and the city publishes the exceptions instead of hiding them. A mattress and a box spring are 50 dollars each. A refrigerator or freezer is 13 dollars each, an air conditioner is 13 dollars each and a microwave is 8 dollars each.
