Will the city take it?
Annapolis city residential refuse customers use city collection rules. Ordinary bulky trash follows the refuse day, while metal appliances require a separate appointment. Confirm city service for the exact property; an Annapolis mailing address alone does not establish the collector.

Tie bags closed inside durable watertight containers with lids and handles. Use a 32-gallon container or an approved commercial 96-gallon cart with a tipping bar, marked with the address.

Listed household electronics, appliances and metal exercise equipment. TVs and monitors are accepted as trash only.
Bring an Anne Arundel County driver’s license and vehicle registration. No solid waste in rental vehicles, dump, flatbed, stake-body or box trucks, rental trailers or double-axle trailers. Secure the load and prepare to unload it yourself.
Monday-Saturday, 8am-4pm; check holiday closures. Be off site within 15 minutes after closing.
Ordinary residential solid waste is uncharged unless a listed vehicle or material exception applies. Confirm the category for your exact load and vehicle before travel.

Separated concrete, brick, block, asphalt and stone for rubble recycling. Confirm acceptance of other renovation materials before travel.
Bring county residency identification and vehicle registration. Keep sinks, toilets, tubs, wood, metal, plastic and trash out of the rubble stream. Follow staff directions for each material.
Monday-Saturday, 8am-4pm; check holiday closures and arrive with time to unload.
Material and vehicle rules determine the disposal charge. Concrete and unusually difficult bulky loads can have a separate rate; review the fee schedule for the exact load.

Can I book a pickup for today?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Your booking is for a pickup day, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
Do I need to book city pickup for a couch or mattress?+
No appointment is required for accepted nonmetal items at city residential refuse customers’ homes. Keep the total to three bulk items per collection day.Official guidance
Can I leave a refrigerator with ordinary bulk trash?+
