Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

When & how
Request before county recycling day: online by 11:59pm the previous day or by phone before 7pm on the previous business day. Late requests move to the following week. Scrap-metal pickups have no annual limit.
Get it ready
Confirm the machine is at least 51 percent metal and no longer than 8 feet. Ask MC311 about dismantling an oversized or unusual machine.
Submit the online request by 11:59pm before collection, or call MC311 by 7pm on the prior business day. Set items out by 7am; keep bulk trash and scrap metal separate.

Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
