The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

County-origin material only; bring residency proof, cover the load and unload your own items. No commercial or rental vehicles Sunday; use the Shady Grove Road entrance Sunday. Confirm trailer access. The main tipping floor requires a high-visibility vest, hard hat and closed-toe shoes. Bring county-origin devices and residency proof, unload them yourself and erase personal data. Confirm any device-specific preparation. Trash loads of 500 pounds or more must use the scales Monday-Saturday and are not accepted on Sunday.

Can I drop off a television instead?+
County residents may bring TVs and other listed electronics to the Transfer Station recycling area and unload them from their vehicle.Official guidance

How do I change a scheduled pickup?+

Where and when should Aspen Hill bulky items be set out?+
For a confirmed county pickup, put bulk trash beside regular trash by 7am and separate it from recyclables, yard trim and scrap metal. At least one side of a very large item must be under 4 feet. Habitat Metro Maryland currently posts a donation pause from September 13 through October 1. Contact its donation team at 301-926-4104 before planning a delivery or pickup.
