The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Bring an Anne Arundel County driver’s license and vehicle registration. No solid waste in rental vehicles, dump, flatbed, stake-body or box trucks, rental trailers or double-axle trailers. Secure the load and prepare to unload it yourself. Keep TVs and monitors separate from the electronics recycling stream.
Monday-Saturday, 8am-4pm; check holiday closures. Be off site within 15 minutes after closing.

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
Will the county recycle my TV?+
County recycling centers accept TVs and monitors for trash disposal only. Other listed electronic devices use the electronics recycling area. Ask about a separate take-back recycler if recycling the TV is your priority.Official guidance
