Household trash including furniture and mattresses, construction material, yard waste and compost, electronic waste, white goods including refrigerators and air conditioners, tires, and free recycling of cardboard, bottle-shaped #1 and #2 plastics, mixed paper and cans.
Loads are weighed at the scale and charged by weight with a minimum for each vehicle, and refrigerant appliances add an evacuation charge for each unit. Tree stumps, root balls and trunks over 30 inches in diameter cannot be chipped. Customers unload their own material.
Summer hours Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturday 7am to 4:30pm; winter hours Monday through Saturday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Logan Landfill charges a minimum for each vehicle and bills material by weight, so the exact cost depends on the weighed load. E-waste, refrigerant units and tires have their own rates.
