High Point holds its events at 1401 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, entered from Hoskins Street, and the site is closed to the public on other days. The published 2026 dates are May 16 and November 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., so check the current schedule before loading. The county center at 2750 Patterson Avenue is open Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

High Point residents have four self-haul routes that cover most of what a curbside cart cannot take.
