Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it will come apart, remove the batteries, and keep the loose weights with the frame so a crew can lift the pieces safely.
Place garbage, recycling, yard waste, bulky items, white goods and e-waste at the curb the night before your collection day, and remove empty containers no later than 7 a.m. the day after. Space carts, yard waste, furniture and bulky items five feet apart and five feet from parked cars, mailboxes, poles, guy wires and fences. Construction and demolition debris, and any household waste the city will not take, goes to the county landfill at 4441 Irish Potato Rd. in Concord. Bring a credit or debit card because the site takes no cash, keep the load out of a trailer longer than 8 feet or a box truck, and arrive before the construction cut-off time. Household hazardous waste and recyclables go instead to the county facility at 246 General Services Drive SW, Concord, on its posted days.

Arrange it
