Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction, remodeling and clean fill

Special rules apply

Construction and remodeling debris is refused in the roll-out and the shared alley container. City ordinance makes contractors, remodelers, landscapers and tree trimmers responsible for taking their own job waste to the landfill and asks homeowners to confirm it was done, so the practical route for a household doing its own work is a self-hauled load priced by material at the scale.

City cost & eligibility
From $19.91 per ton of clean fill such as concrete, brick, asphalt and rock that meets state clean fill standards, with mixed loads listed at $54.15 per ton, asphalt roofing shingles and large tree trunks at $31.14 per ton and a residential flat rate of $9.81 for the first 300 pounds on the same sheet. Self-hauled loads at the Roswell Municipal Landfill under the sheet effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; construction material and shingles are excluded from the once-a-month free residential drop, and concrete with rebar is accepted only while the load stays in clean fill form with no wood, paper or other biodegradable material mixed in.
When & how
Load the material, tarp it as the landfill requires, and take it to 3006 W Brasher Road, Roswell, during open hours from Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. or on Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., stopping at the scale house on the way in.
Get it ready
Separate clean concrete, brick, asphalt and rock from mixed debris so the load can be billed at the clean fill rate, keep wood, paper and other biodegradable material out of a clean fill load, break pieces down so they fit a pickup bed or a trailer, and tarp the load before you drive.

Containers out before 5 a.m.

Curbside roll-outs go to the curb or the front of the driveway before 5 a.m. on the pickup day and no more than 12 hours early, facing the street and clear of obstacles. Alley containers are shared by up to four households, face the inside of the alley, have to stay upright, and may only be moved by a sanitation worker. Anything left beside a container stays there unless it is on the grapple truck list.

What never goes in a Roswell container

Flammable liquids, construction debris, large items and dirt are refused in every container, waste has to be bagged, and paint only goes in after it has been treated with a paint hardener. A box larger than three feet by three feet has to be cut down first, and tires are never placed in a container because the city sends them to the landfill instead.

Contractor waste belongs to the contractor

City ordinance makes contractors, remodelers, landscapers and tree trimmers responsible for taking their job waste to the landfill, and homeowners are expected to confirm that the hired contractor handled it. Waste material may not be left in an alley or on a vacant lot, and the illegal dumping page shows what the city does about loads that are dumped.

Haul the load to the scale yourself

A household with a mixed or oversized load that falls outside the free waiver, including construction material, shingles, tires or an appliance.

Cost & conditions
From $9.81 for the residential flat rate for the first 300 pounds of a tipped load, with additional weight at $54.15 per ton and clean fill, asphalt shingles, tires, e-waste and refrigerators billed on their own lines of the same sheet. Residential and county loads tipped at the Roswell Municipal Landfill under the sheet effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; the once-a-month waiver does not cover tires, construction material, shingles, e-waste or heavy loads over 300 pounds.
Arrange it
Tarp the load, drive to 3006 W Brasher Road, Roswell, during open hours, and stop at the scale house so the load can be weighed and billed.

No commercial hazardous material or bulk liquids are accepted, chemicals from business and industrial customers are refused, and nothing should arrive untarped.

Drop metal at the city's recycling outlet

A household with scrap metal, a stripped appliance or leftover metal from a remodel that can leave the property separately from the rest of the load.

Cost & conditions
Roswell Recycling Center is a private metal recycler, and the city publishes no rate for what it pays or charges, so confirm the terms by phone before loading metal or an appliance that still holds refrigerant.
Arrange it
Take the metal to Roswell Recycling Center at 1900 E. Poe St., Roswell, during the business's own hours, and keep refrigerant-bearing appliances out of the load until the refrigerant has been handled.

The city lists the outlet and the address but no hours, no accepted list and no price, so nothing about the trip should be assumed from the city page alone.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Roswell households do most of their own hauling to the Roswell Municipal Landfill at 3006 W Brasher Road, which serves Roswell and Chaves County and charges by weight and material at the scale, with one residential load a month waived for a water customer who brings a current bill and identification. The same site runs free recycling containers for cardboard, aluminum cans and tin cans, checked in at the weight station, and it takes tires, e-waste and refrigerators on their own fee lines, so those loads have to be kept separate from the free drop. For metal, the city names Roswell Recycling Center on East Poe Street, which also buys the cans collected at the landfill. Electronics go to Roswell Phone and Computer Repair on North Main Street, Oasis Computers on North Garden Avenue or the Target store on North Main Street, because the landfill has no designated electronics drop-off program, and small batteries, glass, plastic bags and cellphones are accepted at that same store while lithium batteries wait at The Home Depot. Fluorescent bulbs go to J&G Electric on South Main Street for a fee, used motor oil goes to the quick lube shop the landfill names on North Main Street, and plastic bags can go back to Albertsons Market. Everything should be tarped on the way in, and nothing on the landfill's prohibited list, including commercial hazardous material and bulk liquids, should be loaded at all. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Roswell.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Roswell?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Roswell?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in Roswell?

To the Roswell Municipal Landfill at 3006 W Brasher Road, because construction debris is not allowed in the roll-out or the shared alley container. Contractors and remodelers are responsible under city ordinance for disposing of their own job waste, and the once-a-month free residential drop does not cover construction material or shingles.Official guidance

Who runs trash collection in Roswell?

The City of Roswell Solid Waste Department does, with free curbside roll-outs where there is curbside service and shared alley containers for up to four households where there is not. The department also runs the municipal landfill and answers program questions on 575-624-6746.Official guidance

Which days is my trash collected in Roswell?

Collection runs twice a week by half of the city: Monday and Thursday for addresses south of Alameda Street, including the RIAC, and Tuesday and Friday for addresses north of Alameda Street. Curbside containers go out before 5 a.m. and alley containers take the last bag by the same time.Official guidance

How is residential trash service billed in Roswell?

The household charge is added to the monthly City water bill, and grapple truck bulk collection is billed on the same bill by how full the truck is. The current amounts sit on the city's fee pages, and the department can confirm them on 575-624-6746 before anything large is set out.Official guidance

Which holidays change trash or landfill hours in Roswell?

The landfill closes for New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Sanitation still collects the day after Thanksgiving, and the city posts route changes for the other holidays on its Facebook page.Official guidance

Who can move an alley container in Roswell?

Only a sanitation worker. Alley containers are shared by up to four households, two on each side, they have to face the inside of the alley and stay upright, and residents are asked not to move them. Anything too large for the shared bin has to go on the grapple truck list instead.Official guidance
