Will the city take it?
Columbus requires a scheduled bulk request for eligible household items. Refrigerated appliances, building debris and move-out or cleanout loads need different arrangements; apartment developments coordinate bulk requests through the owner or manager.
Washers, dryers, stoves and other listed non-refrigerant appliances have City collection or drop-off routes.

Can I book a pickup for today?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Your booking is for a pickup day, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
Does an upholstered couch need wrapping?+
Yes. Columbus requires upholstered furniture, including leather, and other fabric items scheduled for collection to be completely sealed in plastic wrap. Tell 311 if items have been exposed to bed bugs.Official guidance
