Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction and renovation debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction material is not part of the weekly cart or the bulk Fridays. The published route for a project load is an open-top container ordered from Waste Pro at an additional charge.

City cost & eligibility
Open-top containers come in 12, 20 and 30 cubic yard sizes and are available at an additional charge that is quoted rather than published as a fixed rate. Confirm the size, the price and the receiving site with Waste Pro at (912) 290-2118 before the work starts.
When & how
Container service is provided Monday through Saturday, so order the container before the work produces debris rather than stacking material at the curb.
Get it ready
Keep construction and demolition material out of the green garbage cart, the recycling and the bulk pile. Keep paints, insecticides, chemicals, automotive parts, batteries, tires and medical waste out of the container as well, because Waste Pro lists each of those as refused on the residential service and the county has separate routes for them.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

Use the green cart and keep the lid line clear

Every single-family residence gets a 96 gallon green cart with a blue lid, and it has to be beside the street rather than in it by 7 a.m. on the collection day, with the handles facing the residence and nothing extending above the rim. Paper bags, cardboard boxes, recycle bins and oil drums cannot be used as garbage containers. Used oil, paint, insecticides, chemicals, automotive parts, batteries, tires, medical waste including needles and syringes, and hazardous waste are refused at the cart.

Open-top container for a project load

A household or contractor with construction and renovation debris that neither the cart nor the bulk service will take.

Cost & conditions
Open-top containers come in 12, 20 and 30 cubic yard sizes and are available at an additional charge that is quoted rather than published as a fixed rate, so confirm the size, the price and the receiving site with the hauler before ordering.
Arrange it
Contact Waste Pro at (912) 290-2118 to order the container, and schedule delivery before the work starts. Container service is provided Monday through Saturday.

The quoted rate depends on the container size and the load. Paints, chemicals, batteries, tires and medical waste still need their own route rather than the container.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Springfield splits the work between the curb and the county. Trash is collected every Monday in the green 96 gallon cart, and bulky household items go on the alternate Fridays marked on the joint city and Waste Pro 2026 schedule, as long as the request reaches Waste Pro by Thursday afternoon and the load stays within four items and two hundred pounds combined. Waste Pro also runs open-top containers for construction and cleanup loads Monday through Saturday. Anything the cart refuses, including electronics, paint, tires, bulbs, batteries, appliances and household chemicals, goes to the Clark County Specialty Recycling Center on West Main Street, open Thursdays and the first Saturday of the month for Clark County residents with payment on site. The free city Community Clean Up Day on Saturday October 10 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. is the low cost way to clear a household pile, and proof of residency is required. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Springfield.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Springfield?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Springfield?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Will Springfield take construction debris?

Not at the curb. The weekly cart takes household waste and the bulk Fridays are for household items, while Waste Pro offers open-top containers in 12, 20 and 30 cubic yard sizes for construction and cleanups at an additional charge with service Monday through Saturday. Order the container before the work starts and keep paints, chemicals, batteries and tires out of it.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Springfield?
