When & how
Out by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the collection week and not before 5 p.m. the Friday prior, left at the curb for the whole week.
Get it ready
Take the piece down as far as it will go, keep cushions and loose parts with the frame, and roll carpet rather than leaving it loose. Glass plates and mirrors have to be boxed and wrapped with the edges taped, and metal bed frames are refused rather than collected.

Leave at least five feet of space on both sides of the pile and keep it away from the mailbox, electric box, gas meter and any other obstacle, and out from under trees and power lines. A parked vehicle in front of the pile means it will not be collected.
