The local disposal guide
TV removal in Roseburg: start with the item’s collection rules, then choose the arrangement that fits.

The city's community table gives electronics a real local route. Staples takes smaller televisions and computers at no charge, Sunrise Enterprises takes televisions and computers free, and ecoATM kiosks at Fred Meyer, Walmart and Dollar General take phones and personal electronics.
Roseburg publishes no curbside bulky collection at all. Large items leave a household either through one of the reuse outlets the city names or on a self-haul trip to a Douglas County transfer station, and the county warns that some materials are restricted at those sites.
The handoff matters
Roseburg Disposal collects a narrow curbside list: aluminum and tin including beverage cans, rinsed clean with no food or lids; corrugated cardboard, flattened to 4 feet by 4 feet or smaller with all plastic or wire removed; plastic bottles with a wide base and narrow pour spout, rinsed with no lids; and motor oil in nonbreakable containers with tight screw-on caps. Everything else stays out, including lids, food remnants, glass, waxed cardboard such as cereal boxes and milk cartons, and paint thinner or other hazardous liquids. There is no curbside bulky collection and no curbside yard waste programme published for the city.
City page for Roseburg Disposal Company with the curbside accepted list of aluminum and tin, corrugated cardboard, plastic bottles and motor oil, and the refusals covering lids, food remnants, glass, waxed cardboard and hazardous liquidsThe Douglas County Roseburg Transfer Station at 165 McLain West Avenue is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Monday and Tuesday, and every county solid waste facility closes on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Loads have to be restrained, and the county defines an unrestrained load as one that can drop, sift, leak, blow or escape, with bags above the sidewalls needing a rope, net or tarp and the tailgate in use. Some materials are restricted at transfer stations, and the recycling lanes refuse cartons, plastic containers and bags, paper, diapers, comingled items and organic waste.

Clothes and household items go to Goodwill Industries on NW Stewart Parkway, Rice Avenue Thriftique on SE Stephens Street, St. Vincent de Paul on W. Appliances go to ReStore Appliances or Heartwood ReSources, which also takes building materials and reusable tubs, sinks and toilets, and liquid paint in its original container can go free to any paint store or to Heartwood ReSources.

Before you book
TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Roseburg.
A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.
You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.
Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.
Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
To one of the outlets on the city's community recycling table. Staples at 1414 NW Valley View Drive takes smaller televisions and computers at no charge, and Sunrise Enterprises at 2331 NE Stephens takes televisions and computers free as well. Cell phones and personal electronics go to an ecoATM kiosk at Fred Meyer, Walmart or Dollar General, where cash is sometimes paid for phones. None of that is a curbside service, and electronics do not belong in the curbside recycling cart.Official guidance
No. The city publishes no bulky collection, and its curbside recycling partner Roseburg Disposal collects only aluminum and tin, corrugated cardboard, plastic bottles and motor oil. A large item either goes to a reuse outlet named on the city's community recycling table or is self-hauled to a Douglas County transfer station, where yard and wood debris, appliances and mattresses each carry a nominal fee, and where some materials are restricted.Official guidance
Collection is a franchise operation rather than a city department. The city names Roseburg Disposal Company as the carrier for curbside recycling, with the Douglas County Solid Waste Division and the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative's BottleDrop network handling the rest, and the county licenses the franchise haulers and runs the transfer stations and the landfill. Roseburg Disposal is at 1308 NW Park St. on 541-673-7122, open weekday mornings and early afternoons.Official guidance
Four streams only: aluminum and tin including beverage cans, rinsed clean with no food or lids; corrugated cardboard, flattened to 4 feet by 4 feet or smaller with plastic and wire removed; plastic bottles with a wide base and narrow pour spout, rinsed with no lids; and motor oil in nonbreakable containers with tight screw-on caps. Lids, food remnants, glass, waxed cardboard such as cereal boxes and milk cartons, and paint thinner or other hazardous liquids are all refused.Official guidance
The county charges by material stream rather than by item. Construction and demolition waste carries a published per ton rate at the landfill and a per cubic yard rate at the Roseburg and Reedsport transfer stations for loads of a cubic yard or more, with every other transfer station limited to one cubic yard a day. Yard and wood debris, appliances and mattresses sit on their own streams that the county describes as carrying nominal fees without printing an amount, so confirmation with 541-440-4485 before a trip is the honest answer.Official guidance
To a Douglas County transfer station, where yard and wood debris is listed among the accepted streams and carries a nominal fee rather than a curbside pickup. The county sends the material to the Roseburg Landfill, where it is ground and loaded out as mulch. Roseburg publishes no curbside yard waste programme for the city, so brush, limbs and wood are a self-haul trip with a restrained load.Official guidance
