Televisions, computers and electronic waste

Special rules apply

Televisions, computers and monitors cannot go curbside under Pennsylvania law, the township pages route them away from the carts, and the county hazardous waste events refuse electronics as well, so the county e-waste drop off list is the route.

City cost & eligibility
The county publishes the drop off locations rather than the prices and tells residents to confirm availability, fees and conditions with each one, and it also notes that some municipalities host their own e-waste programs, so confirm the location and the cost before loading a vehicle.
When & how
Take the device to one of the county listed e-waste drop off locations during its own hours, and call ahead because the county asks residents to confirm availability and fees first.
Get it ready
Keep televisions, computers, monitors and printers out of the trash and recycling carts, because Falls Township cites the Pennsylvania law ban and both townships refuse the material curbside, and wipe personal data before handover.
Falls Township trash and recycling page with the holiday list and delay rule, the set out window and cart spacing, the recycling and trash cart colours, the prohibited household hazardous waste, battery and electronics lists with the Pennsylvania law note, the one bulk item per week rule and its second pickup day timing, the accepted bulk item list, the carpet and mattress preparation rules, the Freon appliance and extra bulk pre-scheduling requirement with the Waste Management number, and the recycling drop off at the 1400 Bordentown Road scale facilityBucks County household hazardous waste page with the 2026 event dates and Lower and Upper Bucks venues, the 8:30am to 2:00pm window, the free drop off with no registration, the refusal of electronics, appliances and latex paint, the accepted pesticide, flammable, caustic, toxic, battery and other material lists, the unacceptable material list including tires, propane tanks over 2 lbs and Freon, the year round drop off resources, the separate electronic recycling drop off table with 611 Metals, Goodwill and Clean Earth plus Best Buy and 1-800-GOT-JUNK, the DEP referral, and the curbside recycling guidanceBristol Township trash and recycling page with the Waste Management contract covering trash, recycling, yard waste and bulk item pickup on one weekly collection day, the 95 gallon and 65 gallon carts and their colours, the cart placement and four feet of separation, the ordinance requirement with its fine reference, the 6 a.m. deadline, the April 1 to December 11 2026 yard waste season with the branch rule, the observed holiday list with the one day delay, the refusal of household hazardous waste with the county referral, and the recycling office number

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

Chemicals, batteries and electronics never go in the cart

Both townships keep the same material off the collection route. Household hazardous waste such as pesticides, weed killers, poisons, oil based paints, fuels, auto fluids and hazardous chemicals is refused, along with automotive and special batteries and electronics, and Falls Township also cites the Pennsylvania law ban that keeps televisions, laptops, computers, printers and monitors out of curbside collection. The county household hazardous waste events take the chemicals but expressly refuse electronics, appliances and latex paint, so the county e-waste drop off list is the route for a screen or computer.

The county events are free, need no registration and run rain or shine

Bucks County runs its 2026 household hazardous waste events from 8:30am to 2:00pm rain or shine, with drop off free and no registration required. The Lower Bucks events are April 4 and July 11 at Bucks County Community College, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, and August 8 at Bensalem High School, 4319 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, while the Upper Bucks events are May 30 in Perkasie and October 24 in Quakertown. Pesticides, flammables, oil based paint and thinner, caustics, antifreeze, CFLs, mercury, pool chemicals, batteries, fire extinguishers, propane tanks of 2 lbs or less and road flares are taken, and appliances, electronics, latex paint, tires, Freon, smoke detectors, medical waste and larger propane tanks are refused.

Use a county listed e-waste drop off

A household with a television, computer, monitor, printer or another electronic device that cannot go curbside.

Cost & conditions
The county lists the drop off locations and asks residents to confirm availability, fees and conditions with each one, so the cost depends on the location chosen and has to be confirmed first.
Arrange it
Choose a listed location, such as the Goodwill sites in Langhorne and Bensalem or the 611 Metals and Clean Earth locations, or book a Best Buy haul away pickup or 1-800-GOT-JUNK, and call ahead to confirm the program and the price.

Each location sets its own accepted devices, fees and hours, some municipalities run their own e-waste programs instead, and the Pennsylvania DEP hotline only lists events that the county does not sponsor.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self haul in Levittown splits between the hauler and the county. For recyclable material, Falls Township names the Waste Management scale facility at 1400 Bordentown Road, open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For electronics, which may not go curbside under Pennsylvania law, the county publishes a drop off list that includes Goodwill sites in Langhorne and Bensalem, 611 Metals and Clean Earth, and it also points to Best Buy haul away pickup and 1-800-GOT-JUNK, telling residents to confirm availability, fees and conditions and noting that some municipalities run their own e-waste programs. For household chemicals, the county events are the destination: drop off is free with no registration, they run from 8:30am to 2:00pm rain or shine, and in 2026 the Lower Bucks dates are April 4 and July 11 at Bucks County Community College, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, and August 8 at Bensalem High School, 4319 Hulmeville Road. Those events refuse electronics, appliances and latex paint, so the two streams do not overlap. For anything a hauler or a container company has to handle, neither township publishes a construction rate, so the price comes from the company doing the work. County listed e-waste drop off for lower Bucks

Goodwill Lower Bucks

2365 Lincoln Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047

Electronic waste through the county listed drop off programme, which the county presents alongside 611 Metals and Clean Earth as the route for televisions, computers and similar devices that may not go curbside.

Each listed location sets its own accepted devices, fees and conditions, and the county asks residents to contact the location first to confirm program availability and cost.

Not published by the county, so confirm the store hours on 267-364-6038 before a trip.

The county lists the drop off location and phone number rather than a price, so confirm any fee for the device before bringing it in.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Electronics removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Levittown.

How much does electronics pickup cost in Levittown?

A computer monitor is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Choose the actual devices and quantities to see your combined price online. A separate desktop tower and monitor are separate items. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; review the total and any applicable tax before payment.

Can you pick up old electronics today in Levittown?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout and have the prepared items outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done. The booking is for a day, not an exact arrival time.

Does computer removal include my monitor and printer?

Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. Add a separate monitor, printer or laptop as its own item if it is going too. For small devices, cables and chargers together, choose Box of electronics and check the description before booking.

Do you erase data from old computers?

Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away. Completion photos confirm the pickup, not data destruction.Official guidance

Can I book one box of old cables and small electronics?

Yes. Box of electronics is an existing option for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. A monitor, desktop computer and printer each have their own item option. Send a photo before booking for a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries so we can confirm the fit.

Where do televisions and computers go in Levittown?

Not in the curbside carts, because Falls Township cites the Pennsylvania law ban on televisions, laptops, computers, printers and monitors, Bristol Township refuses the material on its collection route, and the Bucks County household hazardous waste events expressly do not accept electronics. The county publishes a separate e-waste drop off list with 611 Metals, Goodwill and Clean Earth locations, plus Best Buy haul away pickup and 1-800-GOT-JUNK, and asks residents to confirm availability and fees first.Official guidance

What will not be collected at the curb?

Household hazardous waste and electronics. Both townships refuse pesticides, weed killers, poisons, oil based paints, fuels, auto fluids, hazardous chemicals, automotive and special batteries, and Falls Township cites the Pennsylvania law ban that keeps televisions, laptops, computers, printers and monitors out of curbside collection. The county household hazardous waste events take the chemicals but refuse electronics, appliances and latex paint, so the county e-waste drop off list is the route for a screen or computer.Official guidance
