Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Text us about your setup
  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Televisions and electronic devices

Accepted with preparation

Televisions and other electronics cannot ride with bulk trash. The township's published route is the free e-waste drop-off through the ECOvanta and Keystone Goodwill partnership.

City cost & eligibility
No charge. E-waste is accepted at the Goodwill donation sites in East Norriton, Montgomeryville and Warminster for no charge under the ECOvanta and Keystone Goodwill partnership. Electronic devices are refused in a bulk trash request, and Montgomery County also publishes an electronics disposal programme.
When & how
Take the device to one of the listed Goodwill donation sites during its own opening hours, and keep it out of the trash, recycling and yard waste carts.
Get it ready

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Upper Dublin is a township program rather than a shared-county route: bulk trash, additional trash and bulky cardboard all run through the township OpenGov portal, and a request has to be in by noon on a Tuesday for the following Wednesday collection. Bulk items are charged individually by tier, with furniture and most household items in the lowest tier, an item holding a fuel tank above that and an item holding Freon highest. Televisions and other electronics are refused in bulk trash and go free to one of the Goodwill e-waste sites in East Norriton, Montgomeryville or Warminster. Yard waste rides the green cart once a week from March to November, with free extra collections booked by phone, and flattening cardboard into the blue recycling cart or booking the free Wednesday pickup handles cardboard. Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
