The local disposal guide
Cranston collects refuse and recycling once a week in city-issued carts, and anything that will not fit a cart is bulky waste that the property owner arranges with Waste Management of Rhode Island for a published per-item fee. Televisions, electronics, scrap metal, waste oil and tires have their own weekday drop-off routes at the Public Works complex on Phenix Avenue, and yard waste runs separately from April into mid-December.
