Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Call 615-452-2147 first, and if the machine is accepted add it to the monthly bulk list before the 3:30 p.m. Wednesday cutoff for the following pickup date.
Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it comes apart, take the console and any battery off so the battery can go to the county or to a battery retailer, and keep the frame out of the garbage can, which refuses items that will not fit.

Construction and remodelling debris, cardboard boxes outside the move-in window, auto parts, tires, dirt, rock, concrete, bricks, gas tanks, hazardous waste, dead animals and small household items are refused, and a request made after the cutoff waits for the following month.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
