Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

DFW Reclaimers takes electronics from Haltom City residents with a free pickup when a computer or laptop is in the load, and prices televisions by size.

From $1 per inch of television size at DFW Reclaimers, which charges 1.00 dollar an inch for a television dropped at the warehouse and 2.00 dollars an inch for a pickup, with freon recovery at 25.00 dollars for an appliance that is not empty. When & how
Arrange the DFW Reclaimers pickup with at least one computer or laptop in the load, or drop the items at its warehouse where a television is charged by the inch, and use the state Texas Recycles Computers and Texas Recycles TVs programs for general guidance.
Get it ready
Back up or erase personal data before handover, keep electronics out of the trash and recycling carts, drain or empty any appliance that contains freon to avoid the recovery fee, and note that on site hard drive destruction and excessive CRT loads are priced separately.
Trash and recycling go out by 7 a.m. within six feet of the curb, no can, bag or item over 50 pounds is collected, containers may stay at the curb no longer than 24 hours with a 7 p.m. set out and removal, personal cans need three feet of separation from the hauler cart and from obstacles, and backdoor service is available for an additional charge.

Arrange it
Take household refuse, appliances, construction material and recyclables to the Waste Connections station at 2120 Minnis Dr on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and take paint, chemicals, batteries and bulbs to the Environmental Collection Center at 6400 Bridge Street in Fort Worth on Thursday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The station requires a driver's license and the Haltom City water bill, a hard hat and safety vest, and loads received before closing, the environmental center refuses appliances, electronics, building materials, bulk trash and yard waste, propane cylinders, medicines, tires and asbestos, and business waste is not accepted at either site.
Haltom City households use the Waste Connections curbside contract for garbage twice a week, recycling on the first of the two cycle days and bulky items such as furniture, appliances and water heaters normally on the second day, with everything at the curb by 7 a.m. and no item over 50 pounds.
