Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

No household construction rate is published. The bulky events refuse construction, demolition and remodeling material and the Recycle Center refuses wood and lumber, while the city links a dumpster rental service, so confirm the container and the price with the city at 830-221-4000.
When & how
Ask the city about a dumpster rental or another receiving site before the work starts, and keep the material out of the bulky pile, the trash cart and the recycle center load.
Get it ready
Separate the load by material, keep fixtures, lumber and demolition debris out of every published city route, and remember that scrap metal such as hangers, chains and emptied water heaters is accepted at the Recycle Center while wood and lumber are not.
The free Bulky Garbage Drop Off events run once a quarter at five sites, and a load has to match the accepted list: furniture, mattresses at most sites, whole passenger car tires without rims limited to four per resident, and other non-metal bulky items too large for the trash cart. Electronics, appliances, green waste, hazardous waste, regular garbage, scrap metal, construction and demolition material, fixtures and business trash are refused, with mattresses excluded at the New Braunfels Utilities Service Center site.
The center at 488 S. Castell Avenue requires proof of residency, a valid ID or a utility bill with a New Braunfels address, and it asks drivers to stay in the car while attendants remove the material. Bring items loose in a clear container rather than bagged, flatten boxes, rinse containers, keep white foam separate, cut cardboard down to 30 by 60 inches, and leave the cart and any trailer load behind.

Arrange it
Use the center at 488 S. Castell Avenue, open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday, and stay in the car while attendants unload.
Electronic devices including wires and cords, appliances with Freon, wood and lumber, green waste, plastic bags and wrap, foam including mattress foam, propane and helium tanks, anything with fuel or liquid inside and trash are refused, and trailer loads are not accepted.
New Braunfels households can take bulky material to a free Bulky Garbage Drop Off event once a quarter, where furniture, mattresses at most sites and up to four passenger car tires without rims are accepted, or book a curbside bulky pickup for the published service fee if the load is not primarily metal or glass. Appliances without Freon and other mostly metal items go to the City Recycle Center on South Castell Avenue instead, free with proof of residency, and that center also takes cardboard and recyclables. Electronics are refused at both the events and the center, so that route needs the city to confirm it, and household chemicals go to the city's hazardous waste drop-off events rather than any cart or pile.
