Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

City cost & eligibility
The quarterly drop-off events are free and the curbside bulky pickup carries the published service fee, but a machine is not named and items primarily metal or glass are not eligible for the curbside route. Confirm the machine and which route fits it with the city at 830-221-4000.
When & how
Call the city to confirm the machine, then either take it to a quarterly drop-off event at one of the listed sites or book the paid curbside pickup.
Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it will go, keep loose weights with the frame so the crew can handle it, and check whether the frame is mostly metal, because metal-heavy items are not eligible for curbside bulky pickup.
Curbside bulky collection uses a large truck with a lifting arm, so everything has to be at the curb and fully accessible at the scheduled time with clear space around it. The service fee is non-refundable once the pickup is booked, and refunds are not issued if the items are moved before arrival, are not out when the crew arrives, or cannot be collected because access is blocked, placement is improper, or the load does not meet the programme requirements. Metal or glass items are not eligible.

No charge. Free for New Braunfels residents at the events the city holds once a quarter, with tires limited to four per resident and mattresses excluded at the New Braunfels Utilities Service Center site.
Arrange it
Take the load to one of the published sites: City Hall at 550 Landa St, entering on Laurel Lane, the New Braunfels Utilities Service Center at 355 FM 306, Walnut Springs Elementary at 1900 S. Walnut Ave., or Mesquite Creek Landfill at FM 1101 and Kohlenberg Rd.
Exercise equipment is not named among the accepted streams, which are furniture, mattresses at most sites, whole passenger car tires without rims and other non-metal bulky items, so the city confirms the machine first. Electronics, appliances, green waste, hazardous waste and construction material are refused.

$43.3 per scheduled curbside bulky pickup. New Braunfels residential customers. The fee is non-refundable once the pickup is scheduled, and items that are primarily metal or glass, such as appliances and mirrors, are not eligible.

Submit a bulky pickup request online, and a customer service representative will contact you about availability and restrictions before the collection day.
Metal or glass items are not eligible, so appliances and mirrors have to use the City Recycle Center. Refunds are not issued when items are moved before arrival, are not at the curb at service time, or cannot be collected because of blocked access, improper placement or a load that does not meet the programme requirements.
New Braunfels households can take bulky material to a free Bulky Garbage Drop Off event once a quarter, where furniture, mattresses at most sites and up to four passenger car tires without rims are accepted, or book a curbside bulky pickup for the published service fee if the load is not primarily metal or glass. Appliances without Freon and other mostly metal items go to the City Recycle Center on South Castell Avenue instead, free with proof of residency, and that center also takes cardboard and recyclables. Electronics are refused at both the events and the center, so that route needs the city to confirm it, and household chemicals go to the city's hazardous waste drop-off events rather than any cart or pile. Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
