When & how
The Neighborhood Bulk Drop-Off runs on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon while the season is open, and the city says the 2026 season has ended with the 2027 schedule to follow. Bulk items can also be dropped at the Keep Odessa Beautiful Facility at any time.
Get it ready
Load and unload the items yourself, because city staff are not permitted to open or close a tailgate, lift gate or trunk. Keep furniture out of the roll cart, which takes bagged household garbage only, and keep paint, oil, solvents and other chemicals out of the bulk load.
Each cart holds up to 200 pounds and takes only bagged household garbage. Yard waste, furniture and debris are refused, along with hot ashes, coals, gas, oil, paint and solvents, and hot or flammable material must never be placed in a cart.
Solid Waste staff cannot open or close a vehicle tailgate, lift gate or trunk, so residents load and unload their own bulk material at the drop-off. Remove fuel, oil and batteries from outdoor equipment before it goes in the load.
